Well nuggets, the results are in! Every month, my personal trainer does measurements to see how your body has changed after training. They do BMI, scale and measurments. I went down little with the BMI and weight, but the biggest accomplishment is that I lost 7 inches from head to toe with the measurements.
As I mentioned previously, you stand there awkwardly as the measure your neck down to your calves and I lost a few inches on each part, which means I am becoming more lean and toned. My negative self talk which I try to push out of my brain stated that maybe they are just making that up so I continue to pay money for training. However, that is probably ethically messed up and I should just be happy I made such improvement. I am focusing on my diet too, so the combination between intense workouts and Weight Watchers is working!
I think it is important to keep positive. Sometimes I am annoyed that I don't look like Heidi Klum but I then need to remind myself I am working really hard. I am healthier than the average Josephine and I am pushing myself, which isn't always fun, though its rewarding.
Stay positive today peeps! In the words of country legend Willie Nelson, "Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results" (like 7 inches).
