Do What You Can

Hey everyone, I know I have been the worst blogger ever. This is the month I have a WRE (Wedding related event) every weekend and I am plum exhausted. This also is the time that school starts ramping up too...bleck. I just wanted to stop in and say hi, share a pic or two and talk about "do what you can".

My favorite Bravolebrity turned talk show host, Bethenny Frankel, always talks about "doing what you can" in terms of fitness and eating well. My job causes me to drive most of the day and between I am out of town 3/4 weekends in October (and the weekend I'm in town doesn't count cause I'm IN one of my bffaeaeae's wedding!)

It is hard to work out every day, eat like a bird, finish homework, go to work, go to class and wear your party pants all at the same time. I have gotten stressed about things but I am reiterating to myself the idea of doing what I can.

Though normally I work out 3-4 times a week, I am ok with 2, if one of those is more intense (like my strength training work outs with Bee). I try to plan meals and snacks that are healthy and satisfying (natural peanut butter, fruit, veggies, salads, egg whites), but sometimes, especially on the road, the options aren't always the easiest. I did get a wheat bagel with lox today, and reduced fat cream cheese, soooo...go me.

In conclusion, though my life is a little nuts right now, I am not throwing all my (typically) good habits out the window, however, I am trying not to stress about them. I'm not perfect and I need energy and strength to be able to enjoy the WRE's. I'm doing what I can, trying to exercise and eat right. Enjoy a few pics from the last few weekend's events. MWAH, and I promise I will be a better blogger after October!
