Blogging about Blogs.

This is definitely not on the topic of wellness, but its my blog I can digress if I want to. The whole blog world is extremely new to me. There are all of these secret meanings and things to click on, and I have absolutely no idea how to do anything. I definitely want to thank a fellow Miami grad, the owner of http://www.hooahandhiccups.com/. I will call her S. I am so original with my code names. S pretty much is the bomb dot com at blogs and is practically running an mini-empire with hers, so I asked her for some bloggy advice. Miami alumni and especially Miami people who were in sororities (greek lyfe 4 eva) tend to get along dandily. Anyway, S is helping me with my incessant "How to upload?" and "How do I make my blog pretty with sparkles too?" questions. So thanks, S. Everybody should follow your because you're awesome. You probably have a million other things to do with your life, but you are taking time to help me. That's pretty darn baller if you ask me.

I started this blog entry really to give S a shout out but as I was typing, I did think of how this is related to wellness. Trying new things (except recreational drugs) is part of being an all around healthy person. Being the "new" kid at something may feel a little uncomfortable at first, but with asking for help and practice, there is potential for great growth. Blogging to me is new. I am practicing by clicking around all the heart shaped tabs and reading what others have to say. I am asking for help from an expert, a girl that could set up a popular blog in her sleep. Whether its blogging, skiing, cooking or working out, adding new and exciting things to our lives keeps us fresh and inspired. S is inspiring me to be a BAB (bad ass blogger) and maybe someday, I will be able to do the same for someone else. Try something new this week. It may feel odd at first, but it could be the first step to something life changing, or just something fun. Stay well everyone!

xoxo, Merica
