Mid-Week Catch Up

Hello nuggets! I am so excited because I finished my last take-home final. I officially have finished my first PhD semester. It wasn't easy everyone, but I feel like I've learned so much! One of my "New Year's Resolutions" is to maybe blog a little more about all the fascinating stuff I learn in class. I feel like I am keeping my readers from some reallllllly important info.

Also, this weekend my high school friends and I saw COLE SWINDELL! (He's an up and coming country singer If you haven't heard him, you're missing out!) This is us at the concert and a blurry shot of him. He shore is handsome!!!!

Today marks the beginning of the string of 3 weddings I've been posting about since I began blogging in March. We are getting are nails did and I need to get spray tanned. Woo Woo! I may not post a ton over the next few weeks due to these awesome but time consuming events. Just know I am thinking of you!

Lastly,I just wanted to comment on a little phenomenon that I have heard about and never believed. I have heard exercise fanatics say that working out can make you feel better if you are sick. Now I am assuming not deathly ill, but the cold everyone has around here because the weather can't make up its damn mind. I had a cold that went into my head and led to a few days of crazy bad headaches...one that even made me nauseas. I didn't work out that day, but I worked out a few of the other days I felt like a** and I felt wonderful after. Hmmf..maybe those work out "crazies" are right after all!?

PS: This is me with Buddy the Elf. My friend has a life size one at her house.

 Enough said.

  2. Congrats on finishing the semester! What are you getting your PhD in? I am in the process of applying for schools and scholarships for a PhD in Education. It is super weird to think about where I might be next year.
