I'm On A Boat

This weekend, I headed off to Chicago for Griff's bachelorette boating weekend. It was so fun...and Chicago was perfect. I don't think the weather could have been more beautiful and it was so fun getting to know Griff's friends from Mizzou that I hadn't met yet! I also fell (back) in love with the Chi-town. I kept thinking how much I wanted to move to the Windy City, which did lessen a bit during a few traffic jams;) Anyway, back to the partay. We rented a boat and spent the entire afternoon splashing around on Lake Michigan and sliding down the boat's slide. The MOH and I got a bit sea sick on the inner tube things, but overall the experience was amazeballs. Speaking of the amazeballs...we ate some quality food this weekend. Sushi on night 1 and this awesome Italian place on night 2 (I am now on a no-carb cleanse because that is ALL I ate this weekend! Eh, yolo.) Griff even bought a little birthday cake for me, even though I'm pretending my birthday isn't occurring this year. Oh, I almost forgot! We went to a bar that played sweet beats that are "cool" right now but also old favorites like Ja-Rule, NSync and Gwen Stefani. They also played music videos. What a fabulous idea!!? Cincy needs to start doing this. We were all disturbed with Miley's new video for "We Can't Stop". I love me some MiCy but she is trying to be Lady Gaga, and it's not working for her. I hope she can get more in touch with her Hannah Montana side for everybody's sake. Just sayin'. I am exhausted today, but I think this weekend was worth it. Hope you made it through your Monday!
