Have You Forgotten?

As you know, tomorrow is 9-11. I remember when the towers were hit, I was sitting in "life skills" class in my freshman year of high school. Everyone was so confused about what happened and why. Just thinking about it today gives me the chills.


 Our country was attacked by cowards that day, and though we killed Bin Laden (p.s. see Zero Dark Thirty), we are still in a war against terrorism that unfortunately doesn't seem to be ending any time soon. I just wanted to state that though the loss in human life that was experienced that day was disgusting, the heroism of the first responders to the 9-11 attacks and our armed forces that have and are continuing to fight for America, is truly beautiful. Our country isn't perfect, but it is damn good, in my professional opinion. I added the video by Darryl Worley- Have You Forgotten? to this post because this song is inspiring and can remind us all not to ever forget what happened on September 11, 2001.
